| Daytrotter |
aytrotter is a music website as pure, honest, creative and exciting as the music it features. Every day, the site posts a profile of a band that you'll probably love with music by said band that you've probably never heard. They achieve these unique songs by recording the artists themselves at the Daytrotter studios. Artists like Grizzly Bear, AA Bondy, Spoon, Andrew Bird and Fleet Foxes are recorded to 1/4" tape with minimal mic placement and no overdubs. What happened in the studio is what you hear on the player. But the labor of love doesn't stop there. One of the truly creative and inspiring aspects of the site are the beautiful illustrations that accompany every Daytrotter artist page. The pictures are whimsical colored pencil/water colored creations that identify the page you're seeing as distinctly Daytrotter.

| Weaver’s Nest |
ape Town based designers Animal Farm have tapped into a gigantic and overlooked market: adult treehouses. The Weaver's Nest is an organic lounge chair made from woven branches that hangs in a tree and is accessed by rope ladder. | Zombieland |
n the tradition of the Office, Zombieland is an American take on a British classic (Shaun of the Dead). Although not an explicit copy, the overall idea is there - a likable rag tag cast of misfits band together to fight Zombies with a darkly comic twist. Zombie Comedy? Zomcomedy? Zombody? Whatever. The film stars an ultra badass Woody Harrelson, the ever awkward Jesse Eisenberg, the little miss of Sunshine Abigail Breslin, and the lovely Emma Stone. The team ends up in an abandoned amusement park and must band together to fight off the undead masses. And the kicker: Bill Murray has a guest spot as a vicious brain eater.
